FAQ
Q: I'm having difficulty viewing the Web site; what can I do?
A:
- Be sure that you are using the latest browsers
for your system.
- This site uses the Adobe Flash plug-in
for presentations and navigation. Be sure
to download the latest free
version. See "What is the Adobe
Flash plug-in?" for more information
about Flash.
- Check your internet connection speed. Some
activities such as Flash-based presentations
require modem speeds of 56k and higher. If
presentations load or play slowly, you may
need a faster connection such as DSL, cable,
or T1.
If you're still having problems viewing this
site, please contact
us.
Q: What is the Adobe Flash
plug-in?
A: The Adobe
(formerly Macromedia) Flash Plug-in allows
users to play documents that have been created
using Adobe Flash software in your browser.
Flash provides interactivity, rich media such
as audio and video, and animation all in one
plug-in. All the presentations on this site
require the Flash plug-in. This is the only
plug-in required for the MedEdPPD site. The
Flash plug-in is free and can be downloaded here.
Q: Does MedEdPPD use cookies?
A: Cookies

a user as the user moves through the Web site.
Your browser allows us to place some information
on your computer's hard drive to allow extra

you can access areas for registered users).
- Lets you to set the option for the site
to "remember" you. This allows
you to bypass the sign-in process on each
visit to the site.
- Personalizes the site.
If your web browser is set to reject cookies,
functionality for this site (and possibly other
sites you visit) will not be possible.
Q: What is the MedEdPPD Privacy
Policy?
A: MedEdPPD
understands how important the privacy of personal
information is to our users. MedEdPPD is committed
to honoring your privacy, and will not share
your information with any third parties.
