A psychiatry research team is planning a study to compare several treatments for women with postpartum depression. They would like to know which treatments would not be acceptable to women. You can help by telling us which treatments are not acceptable to you. One of the acceptable treatments would be chosen for you randomly, like flipping a coin. This treatment will be given for 8 weeks.

Which of the following treatments would you not be willing to accept under these circumstances?
  1. Bright morning light therapy, which is effective for depression in general although it is best known for seasonal (winter) depression treatment
I am NOT willing to try this.
    Why?
  2. Psychotherapy, or talking therapy
I am NOT willing to try this.
    Why?
  3. Zoloft, or sertraline, an antidepressant in the serotonin group that has been studied extensively for breastfeeding
I am NOT willing to try this.
    Why?
  4. Wellbutrin, an antidepressant with minimal information on use during breastfeeding. It is also used for promoting smoking cessation
I am NOT willing to try this.
    Why?
  5. Are there other choices that you would rather have as your first preference for treatment that are not listed here?

    Please describe.

Why would you prefer this treatment?
