• We do not release proprietary database information about your use of our site, including mailing and e-mail addresses, to any third party.
• Personal information, including the name of the individual user, is private to MedEdPPD and the CME/CE accrediting organizations: Cicatelli Associates Incorporated, the National Association of Social Workers, and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
• We collect the e-mail addresses of users of our site and information volunteered by the user such as quiz/evaluation information and/or site registrations. This information is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes. We will not use this information unless you specifically request it (for example, if you sign up for our monthly e-mail newsletter).
• We use industry-standard data-encryption technology when we transfer and receive personal information on our site. We maintain appropriate security measures in our physical facilities to protect against loss, misuse, or alteration of information we have collected from you at our site.
• With regard to cookies: "Cookies" are bits of information that are stored on your computer that help identify you when you visit MedEdPPD.org. They are used solely to facilitate the log-in process so that your username and password will not have to be entered each time you visit the site, and to remember which page (professional or "Mothers and Others") you choose to enter. We use cookies only to store your username and password, and for security purposes the password is encrypted.
